1) Dress warmly, including gloves and a hat (if you have no hair
to keep your head warm, like our organizer).
2) Please clean your wheels of major debris, dirt, grease. We’ll
do a final cleaning before anyone goes on the ice.
1) Remember to bring an extra
pair of clean sneakers and to wear warm, loose-fitting clothes like
sweat-pants/sweat-shirt.
2) All necessary curling equipment will be supplied by CCC.
3) Just come and learn and have fun!
Completion of this Wheelchair
Clinic will also allow participants to join a 5 week instructional
league for an additional $75 (Trial Membership). So the total
would be $80 ($5 from the clinic + $75)… for five weeks of curling in an
instructional mini-league! The instructional mini-league gives you the
opportunity to meet other new curlers and get instruction/assistance from our
more experienced curlers. After that, if you get hooked like most people, we
welcome you to join the club as a Full Member….that means unlimited
curling all season long! Who knows, maybe with practice you’ll one day
compete to represent the United States on our Paralympic
or National Wheelchair Curling Team.
