GLCA Hosts 2014 Arena Championships and Take Gold and Silver

The second annual U.S. Arena National Championships was held  June 11-15, 2014 at the Summit Sports and Ice Complex in Dimondale, Michigan (near Lansing).  Thirty two teams (sixteen men's and sixteen women's) from across the nation competed in the event.

Congratulations go out to the members of the Kalamazoo Curling Club for taking the Women's Gold Medal, and the Men's Silver Medal. An outstanding accomplishment and source of pride for the Great Lakes Curling Association.

Silver medalists: Kalamazoo (Mich.): Garnet Eckstrand (Portage, Mich.), Kent Elliott (Richland, Mich.), Marcus Gleaton (Three Rivers, Mich.), Chris Gleaton (Kalamazoo, Mich.), Thomas Deater (Kalamazoo, Mich.)
