2009 Junior Playdown Pledge

The undersigned has registered as part of a team seeking to participate in the 2009 U. S. Junior Nationals as the representative of the Great Lakes Curling Association (GLCA). In doing so I understand, agree, pledge and commit to the following:

1. that I have reviewed all of the time, travel and financial commitments required and set forth herein with my parents and my school administration/faculty and have their support and consent to participate in both the GLCA Regional Playdowns and the National Tournament as set forth below;

2. that I will participate in the GLCA’S Regional Playdowns to be held at _________________, on December 26^th, 2008 through January 4^th, 2009;

3. that if my team wins the Regional Playdowns I am prepared and committed to attend the U.S. Junior National Tournament to be held in Devils Lake, North Dakota during the week of February 7^th through 14^th, 2009;

4. that I have paid the required USCA entrance fee of $___ and the GLCA Regional Fee of $5.00.

5. that I will acquire, at my own cost, all of the team uniforms required by the USCA for participation in the National Tournament;

6 .that I am able to and will pay for all of my own travel, lodging and food expenses associated with both the GLCA Regional Playdown and National Tournament that are in excess of any stipend provided by the USCA.
